Candidates for Labiaplasty
Candidates for labiaplasty include women born with enlarged or protruding labia and those whose labia enlarge due to childbirth, age, or sexual activity. Extended labia can be uncomfortable and can cause anxiety in intimate settings. Women request labiaplasty surgery for personal reasons. Some feel discomfort during sexual intercourse because of the enlarged labia and desire surgical reduction. However, many women have labiaplasty surgery simply to change the appearance of their external genitalia by reducing the protrusion of the labia.

Recovery
