Featured Procedure: Breast Augmentation

With summer just around the corner, a very popular procedure right now at Kaufman & Clark Plastic Surgery is breast augmentation.

GK is a 39 year old career minded woman and mom who leads a healthy & active lifestyle. She was interested in breast augmentation and desired a full but natural appearance. During her consultation for breast augmentation, we reviewed the implant and incision choices. Because of her desire for a natural result and the minimal coverage her breasts would provide, she opted for a Mentor silicone gel implant placed below the muscle through the inframammary incision. In spring 2008, she had breast augmentation surgery with a 375 cc silicone implant and had an uneventful recovery. She was thrilled with her natural results and new bikini and halter top shopping! The post-operative photos shown were taken at 4 months following surgery.

Many women are self-conscious about small breast size, uneven breast size, or the way their breasts appear after weight loss or pregnancy. Breast augmentation surgery can enhance the shape and size of your breasts with full and natural looking curves that complement the contours of your own figure. The procedure takes about an hour and the recovery is quick—most patients return to work in about five days. The spring months and early summer are ideal times for breast enhancement, allowing enough time to recover before swimsuit season begins. If you are considering a breast augmentation, call the office today to schedule a consultation.

Latisse™ Model ImageLatisse™ is the first and only FDA-approved treatment for people with inadequate or sparse eyelashes. It is a prescription solution used to grow eyelashes — making them longer, thicker, and darker. It increases the growth phase of the individual eyelash hair and it also increases the number of hairs that are in this growth phase. The onset of effect with Latisse solution is gradual. The majority of Latisse users see significant improvement by 2 months. If you are tired of lash extensions and want to go natural, help out nature a bit by giving Latisse a try.
