According to statistics released by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) last April, Chinplants are the fastest growing cosmetic surgery procedure. In fact, chin augmentation grew more than breast augmentation and liposuction combined last year.

A receding chin can make a person look older, which is to account for the popularity of chin implants amongst the older crowd.

BRA Day is Here!

We’re getting a new holiday! You don’t get the day off work, but it’s called National Breast Reconstruction Awareness Day (BRA Day) and it will occur on October 17, with the first one happening this year. The U.S. and 20 other countries are participating in an effort to increase awareness of breast reconstruction procedures for women who have had a mastectomy.

It’s a good idea because according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), about 70 percent of women who have had breast tissue medically removed were not informed about the plastic surgery options available to them. A competent plastic surgeon can do amazing things with breast reconstruction. You can see before and after pictures of patients who have undergone such surgery.
