Video games can make you a winner in real life. Well, in moderation, maybe. A recent study conducted by a professor at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston found that high school and college students who regularly played video games were able to match and sometimes exceed the skill level of resident physicians in a robotic surgery simulator. In short, the study found that playing video games makes for a better surgeon. The study also found that the test subjects who played about two hours of video games daily performed better than those who played four hours daily, so there might be something to be said for moderation, as well.
