If you’ve ever had a long stay in the hospital, or if you’ve ever had a family member with a serious illness, then you’re likely familiar with the dominating effects poor health can have on a person’s life. For those of us fortunate enough to have never experienced anything more serious than a cold or the flu or maybe a broken bone, it’s difficult to imagine a life in which one must live with the knowledge that the daily suffering and encumberment caused by their illness will likely never leave them.
We have always been passionate about volunteering to help those who need help, but don’t have the resources available to get the medical attention they need, as well as donating to worthy causes.
I was recently contacted by a boy named David Sam Kaufman . He was able to find me by searching the Internet for his own name. Please visit his page to read his story and make a donation to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. He is also selling necklaces and bracelets if you would like to give your support in that way. Every little bit helps.
