Chemical Peels
Chemical peels offer a non-invasive alternative to cosmetic surgery that can be performed as a simple outpatient procedure. Some people schedule an annual peel, while others incorporate monthly chemical peels as part of their normal skin rejuvenation regimen.

What to Expect
Whether the result of environmental damage, hereditary factors or simply the act of aging, our skin can easily develop unwanted lines, rough texture, blemishes and uneven pigmentation. Chemical peels use an exfoliating solution that causes damaged or dead skin to fall away. Most commonly used on the face, chemical peels can also be applied to the arms, hands, legs, face, neck and chest.
Our chemical peels are available in four different strengths to suit your needs:
- Radiance Peel – This superficial chemical peel is a minimally invasive procedure in which an acid-based solution is applied to the face or décolletage to remove dead skin cells. After several minutes, the solution is removed, revealing smoother, more refined-looking skin. Results increase with multiple treatments.
- ZO Controlled Depth Peel – This peel is performed only in conjunction with a surgical procedure in the operating room. This mid-depth chemical peel uses 30% TCA as the active ingredient. The depth of the peel will be based on your level of sun damage and desired level of transformation. This peel is an excellent addition to any surgery for those looking to treat sun damaged skin on their face, neck, and chest.
- Vi Peel – This peel is designed to help prevent the signs of aging and sun damage on the skin. The Vi Peel is very effective in clearing acne and impurities for patients as young as 12 years old. The Vi Peel may be purchased in series of treatments, or singles for maintenance.

Your Treatment Appointment
Prior to your chemical peel, you will have a brief consultation with one of our trained aestheticians. During your consultation, you can discuss your skin concerns and goals. Your aesthetician will determine the level of strength to use in your peel.
Your consultation is also a good time to discuss any other appearance concerns you may have. Deeper wrinkles in the skin are often a result of the loss of facial volume, and cannot be improved with chemical peels. To address deep creases like laugh lines, you may wish to consider dermal fillers.
Recovery & Results
Depending on the strength of your peel and whether you combine it with any additional procedures, your appointment can last anywhere from 15 minutes to 2 hours. Lighter strength chemical peels usually require no downtime, while stronger peels may require that you take several days away from work.
While some patients simply get a chemical peel once or twice a year as part of their skin maintenance, others undergo a series of chemical peels.
